  6. beat Wilfred Benitez for the WBC welterweight
  7. title. He later won titles at
  8. junior-middleweight (WBA version) 1981,
  9. middleweight (WBC) 1987, light-heavyweight
  10. (WBC) 1988, and super-middleweight (WBC)
  11. 1988. In 1989 he drew with Thomas Hearns.
